HOTEL ALPES ET LAC, NEUCHÂTEL

About

Inaugurated in 1897, the building we are currently in has always been a hotel. Initially named “Grand Hôtel Terminus,” the establishment catered to travelers in search of accommodation. Its ideal location in front of the brand new Neuchâtel train station and its unobstructed view of the lake and the Alps quickly led to the hotel’s success.

Purchased and completely renovated in the years 1995-1996, the Grand Hôtel Terminus became the Alpes et Lac Hotel. It offers 30 rooms, a restaurant, and a seminar room. The rooms were once again fully renovated and tastefully redecorated in 2020.

In 2019, after extensive construction work, the Annex of Alpes et Lac opened in the adjacent building to the hotel. It offers 16 air-conditioned artist-themed rooms that are modern and comfortable. On the 5th floor, a seminar room with a private terrace makes it an ideal location for business meetings.
